Before You Arrive

Before You Arrive

Prepare Your Hair

For the best braiding result and the longest-lasting style, please arrive with your hair clean and thoroughly dry. Avoid applying heavy oils, butter, or styling products to your hair before you come in.

Choose Your Style

If you have a specific style in mind, save reference photos on your phone before your appointment. Pinterest, Instagram, and our own gallery are great sources of inspiration.

Know Your Budget

Review our pricing guide before your visit so you have a clear sense of what your chosen style costs.

Bring Your Braiding Hair (Optional)

You can bring your own braiding hair or purchase it from the salon. If you’re not sure what to bring, our team will advise you.

  • Your phone with reference photos
  • Your braiding hair (or purchase from us)
  • Payment — cash, card, or digital

Your Appointment

What Happens at Your Appointment

Step 1 — Consultation (10–15 min)

We begin every your chosen style appointment with a brief consultation. Your stylist discusses your preferred style, length, size, and any specific concerns about your scalp or edges. This ensures we deliver exactly what you have in mind.

Step 2 — Hair Preparation (15–20 min)

We prep your natural hair for installation — including washing and conditioning if booked, detangling, blow-drying if required, and parting into clean sections. Healthy hair prep leads to a longer-lasting result.

Step 3 — Installation

Your braider installs your your chosen style using proven, scalp-safe techniques. We work precisely and consistently for uniform tension across every section, protecting your edges and follicles throughout.

Step 4 — Finishing & Styling (15 min)

We complete your look with edge control, any styling details you've requested, and a final inspection to ensure clean parts and a polished result before you leave the chair.

Step 5 — Aftercare Guidance (10 min)

Your stylist walks you through exactly how to maintain your new style — washing frequency, products to use, how to sleep with your braids, and when to book your next appointment.
